The Many Ways to Change- How you can make powerful impact with your giving
How to Help It just takes one person to make a difference in the life of those without hope, food or love, you can be that person. At our church, shelter and food banks, we welcome the support of volunteers, donors, sponsors and others who believe that every one deserves hope and opportunity.
Donors can make donations online, through the mail, and with appreciated securities. All gifts are gratefully accepted and unrestricted gifts of $1,000 or more enroll you in the leadership group of donors who gather in the fall at our annual giving campaign celebration.
Those interested in including the in their estate plans through a planned gift such as a bequest, 401k beneficiary designation, life insurance or charitable gift annuity are encouraged to join our club, the Beatitudes.
Sponsors include companies and individuals who want to support our special events and gain name/brand recognition and/or reach their target markets.
The Servant of Jesus Church and Shelter offers services, programs and opportunities to thousands of members each year. We rely on the generosity of many to help us to support our youth with the experiences they need to be successful.

Annual Campaign
It just takes one person to make a difference in a starneger's life…each year we have a campaign to raise funds for an effective and successful campaign. The goal of the 2018 annual giving campaign is $50,000 and we need your help to make it.
The Good Samaritan Society: gifts of $10,000 or more - This is a society for individuals who contribute at the $10,000 or more level to the.
The Inner Circle: $5,000 – $9,999
The Mount of Olives Circle: $2,500 – $4,999
The Golgotha Hill Circle: $1,000 – $2,499
The Via Dolorosa Circle: $500 – $999
The Blessed Circle: gifts up to $499

A Donor Advised Fund account is similar to a charitable checking account. You make contributions and recommend grants to the Boys and Girls Clubs of East Central Alabama's Endowment Fund and other preferred charities at your convenience. The Boys and Girls Clubs of East Central Alabama's Endowment Fund accepts gifts of tangible property, such as jewelry or artwork, with the approval of the Gift Acceptance Committee. At this time, gifts of boats, airplanes, and motorcycles are not accepted by the Foundation.

REAL ESTATE
The Boys and Girls Clubs of East Central Alabama's Endowment Fund accepts gifts of real estate with a minimum appraised value of $25,000 (undeveloped property) and $100,000. When a donor makes an outright gift of real estate that is approved by the Gift Acceptance Committee, the The Boys and Girls Clubs of East Central Alabama's Endowment Fund takes immediate possession of and title to the property. The donor is entitled to a U.S. charitable tax deduction based upon the fair market value of the property when donated as determined by a qualified appraisal. The net proceeds from the sale of the real estate support the Boys and Girls Clubs of East Central Alabama's Endowment Fund.
