FAST FACTS

The Organization
Since 2003 the Servant of Jesus Church and Shelter has been helping our those down on their luck, picking up the fallen and helping them back on the path to succeed in life. The organization has multiple locations and programs which offer these suffering souls a safe loving place to  learn, grow, and prosper, to hope and dream again.

Our service locations are not just hang-outs, but places where young people can learn, utilize technology, express themselves through the arts, play, develop social skills, participate in prayer and worship, give back to the community and engage in meaningful conversations with caring staff and volunteers.

The Need

Times are desperate. The divide between the haves and have nots in our nation is ever widening. Increasingly, they are destitute and alone at home or on the streets of Anniston, Oxford and Jacksonville, Heflin, Ohatchee and Wellington, Blue Mountain, Saks and Weaver, Gadsden, Alexandria   where they are left to fend for their hunger for food, water, love and companionship. The Servant of Jesus Church and Shelter provides all these andmore – a whole world of nonjudegemental love support and encouargement, in the truest spirit of the Gospel and activities geared to help these people regain their faith, trust and  grow into caring and responsible adults.

The Souls We Serve
The Servant of Jesus Church and Shelter offers more than 1,000 people each year our food, water, love, support and our many programs, activities, and services.

How are Our Programs funded?

Funded
Contributions from individuals, foundations, corporations, local, state, and federal grants.
Our food comes by the infinite grace of our Lord, and his son, Jesus. We are blessed by the tireless brethren across this vast and giving land of ours.

Like the miracle of the fish and loaves, whenever we come across something insurmountable, miraculously the way forward has always opened to us.
