VOLUNTEER- INSPIRE

Picture
Volunteers, your community need your help!
Please lend a helping hand, there are many many ways you can make a difference. We make it easy for you to get involved.

We wouldn't be able to offer life changing programs to the most needy without our awesome Volunteers.

Someone to listen. Someone to ask about your day, your dreams, your hopes for the future. Someone to care. It’s so simple, but makes such a profound difference in the life of a person down and out. YOU can be that special person for a soul in need of guidance by volunteering with us.

We welcome individuals, families, workplaces, fellow agencies and groups ready to open their hearts and help these children of God dream big.

We always need volunteers to help with our programs.  You name it - We could use the extra help. They have no one else.

                              Care- Connect- Change

Please see below for our current openings and if there is some other specific way you wish to give back, we will be glad to work with you to light up the lives of darkness.

Volunteer Opportunities

Corporate, School and Group Volunteer Projects
Volunteer groups can assist our youth development programs and improve our Club spaces in a variety of ways. Volunteer groups dedicate their time to improvement projects that may not otherwise be completed, making them an extremely valuable asset.

Groups are welcome at all of our sites
. Projects differ based on site needs and can accommodate anywhere from 5 to 25 people. Please note: larger groups (10 +) require additional planning and consideration.

Getting Started
STEP 1: Contact Seth Murphy,  at 256-486-6005 or [email protected].
STEP 2: Schedule a meeting to explore options.
STEP 3: Confirm and rally your team!

TYPES OF ACTIVITIES

Shelter Interactions
By directly connecting with residents through activities like tutoring, mentoring, music, prayer or art projects, your group can be a positive force in the lives of these lonely souls.

Beautification / Done-in-a-day Projects

Establishing and tending community gardens, organizing common areas, “spring-cleaning,” or mural projects. Your efforts will show our residents that the community cares about them.

Please note: expenses involved with beautification projects must be covered by the volunteer group.
